A one-night physical manifestation of the Nonsense NYC email list, celebrating 10 years of weird art and culture coverage in New York City. Featuring artwork by 75 artists and collectives, an all-night dance party, and performances every five minutes. With eight installation theater spaces and a spectacular spectacle on a brand new floor at one of the best venues in Brooklyn, 3rd Ward.
Artists, collectives, and makers look into the future with a salon-style gallery show on the main floor. The enemy of anyone celebrating 10 years in New York is nostalgia. To fight it, we decided to ask what people want to see in the next 10 years. The response is overwhelming: 75 visions of what culture could be like in the next decade. From Rubulad’s line-up to swim races in the Gowanus Canal, from the Danger’s antics to the Bruce High Quality Foundation’s gender benders, you’ll see it here first.

He has performed at major clubs throughout the city, as well as Fire Island (The Ice Palace at Cherry Grove), Rehoboth Beach (The Blue Moon), the Poconos (Rainbow Mountain Resort) and Cancun, Mexico (Atlantis Events). Brent Eden McCoy grew up on a dairy farm in Northeastern Vermont. He spent his formative years tending to the cows and running a weed whacker. He then learned to juggle, and despite several years of social isolation and esoteric dorkdom, he has become quite the showman. He's performed at festivals, theaters, airports, laundromats, (okay, not really laundromats) around the world. Whether he's wielding five safety cones, untangling a tape measure, or climbing atop a big orange ball, Brent's humble and charming character will clown his way into your heart. No, Brooklyn’s Project Jenny, Project Jan has neither a Jenny nor a Jan, but the music of vocalist Jeremy Haines and electronic maestro Sammy Rubin will find you hard pressed to pigeonhole. Project Jenny, Project Jan released their first self-titled EP and offered the mp3s up free-and-legal on their site. The press took notice, calling it a “shockingly dynamic, danceable, and hilarious affair” (Billboard) and “incomparable” (Deli Magazine).
