Ladies Choice?

New York: Fashion-
A sure sign of the regressive times we're living in, Club Monaco on Broadway offers women these snappy, modified maid uniforms. Hey ladies, why not embrace your subservience in style?
Or perhaps you might want to stroll across the street to Gap where they'd like to dress you up in The Boyfriend Jean. Perfect! Now your boyfriend gets to close his eyes and pretend that he's actually making out with a dude. What's a girl to wear?!?

Gungrease + Butthole = Fearsome!

Artist Spotlight: Fearsome-
Oh my god do I love Fearsome! I once referred to the New York based sketch comedy team as being "like a dirty Up With People". Their new show Gungrease at The P.I.T. does not disappoint!Gungrease features the talents of Katherine Bryant, Shayna Ferm, Alex Goldberg, and Chris O'Connor, (absent this time out are Jaime Hayes and Dan Zalevsky).
Subversively sexy with an absurdly camp sensibility, Fearsome cheerfully regales the audience with a cautionary folk song for thirty-somethings about the perils of FUPA (Fat Upper Pussy Area) as well as a rap about the pleasures of "gungrease 'n butthole".
One day when I meet my soulmate, I want him to be just like Fearsome, charmingly filthy with a really big heart!
Don't miss this show, it will make you very happy. Get advance tickets to Fearsome's show Gungrease at The P.I.T in New York. April 20th at 8PM.

Can you feel it?

New York: Performance -
Spring is in the air and the sap is rising! Can you feel it? I hope you are taking time to get out and enjoy yourself and others.

Thanks to all the folks who came out to All The People You Love at The Cutting Room. The show featured amazing performances by Mike Albo, Ophira Eisenberg, Sxip Shirey, and Jason Wachtelhausen. This was such a special evening for me, to have the opportunity to work with artists who I love and am so inspired by. A wonderful time was had by all. Look for future All The People You Love shows this spring and summer!
Recently, I was invited to perform at Where Have You Been? Conversations on Travel hosted by the pretty darn adorable Jeff Stark at Blue Stockings Bookstore. Anarchists, Irina and Jamie Ratt of the Love and Resistance Collective talked about interviewing fellow anarchists in Mexico and South America. I told "The Cake Story". Tom Guiney spoke about digging up bombs in Laos! If you enjoy stories and travel, you should totally stop by and check it out!

Finally, a little advice for the ladies in Time Out New York.
