Featuring guest editors Weston Bingham and Richard Welch of EASTVILLAGEBOYS.COM with performers Tommy Vallette, Sam Benjamin, Kyle Kupres, Charlie Gaeta, and a special guest video pitch from Colby Keller.

Come for the insanity, stay for the networking! Live video! True Confessions! Gays! Straights! Non-committals! ...oh, and writers! AUDIENCE PITCHES ARE WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED! Come get in line! Your hosts GREG WALLOCH and MARK ALLEN it lively and irreverent! The Moth and USA Network's Characters Unite National Storytelling Tour "A More Perfect Union: Stories of Prejudice and Power"

USA Network and The Moth, In Partnership With Charter and Comcast, Extend Award-Winning Characters Unite National Storytelling Tour

"A More Perfect Union: Stories of Prejudice and Power"

The tour resumes this month in Washington, D.C. with a Mainstage showcase on October 26 featuring Christopher Gorham, Forest Whitaker, Meghan McCain, Greg Walloch, Kevin Jacobsen and Jeffery Rudell.

USA Network has partnered with multichannel video distributors across the country to extend its Beacon Award-winning Characters Unite National Storytelling Tour with the renowned nonprofit storytelling organization The Moth. The tour includes a series of Mainstage shows and educational workshops in communities and high schools across the country, as part of USA's Characters Unite public service campaign to combat prejudice and discrimination. Storytellers in the Mainstage shows and the high school programs tell a true story, live on stage, without notes, about facing some form of bigotry or discrimination and how the experience changed their outlook and empowered them to make a positive change. The goal is to use the power of storytelling to bring diverse people together, encourage more productive dialogue and foster greater understanding and acceptance.

The tour resumes this month in Washington, D.C. in partnership with Comcast, with a Mainstage showcase on October 26th at the Newseum and will feature Special Guest Christopher Gorham from USA's hit series Covert Affairs and stories from Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker; Author and Award-winning Blogger Meghan McCain; Comedian and Performer Greg Walloch; Co-founder of Kindness Above Malice (KAM), Kevin Jacobsen; and Jeffery Rudell, Writer and 2003 Winner of The Moth's Story Slam Championship.

The complementary high school program will take place at Ballou High School and will commemorate National Bullying Prevention Month. Nine students will participate in four days of after-school workshops to learn the art and craft of storytelling and then will share their true tales at an in-school assembly on October 27th.

Sarah Small's Tableau Vivant of the Delirium Constructions, 120-Model Performance

Tableau Vivant of the Delirium Constructions, 120-Model Performance

Skylight One Hanson
Monday, May 23 at 7:00pm - May 24 at 11:00pm
One Hanson Place
Brooklyn, NY

Conception & Artistic Direction by Sarah Small
Stage Direction by Adam J. Thompson
Music Direction by Rima Fand
Produced by Chrissie Rouse

This May, photographer and artist, Sarah Small, is planning to produce the most ambitious performance of her career. Tableau Vivant of the Delirium Constructions will present a unique blend of art forms: theater, performance art, photography, fashion, and both classical and contemporary musical arrangements.

Photographer Sarah Small leads us on a revelatory journey through the interactive creative process and world-premiere of her most ambitious work. Inspired by history's striking French "living pictures", the Tableau Vivant is a revolutionary 120-model live performance installation that has evolved from Sarah's internationally acclaimed photographic series. Through a diverse cast of 120 people from all walks of life, Small presents a microcosm of human experience and interaction that crosses gender, age, race, and class boundaries. With raw passion, unique humor, and relentless optimism, she navigates the intimate desires, paralyzing fears, bitter failures, and transcendent triumphs of her new born artistic family.

After experimenting with a series of smaller tableaux vivants ("living pictures") for the past two years, the May performance represents a culmination of her work and promises to be the cultural event of the season.

The performance on Monday, May 23rd and Tuesday, May 24th will be at the historic Williamsburg Savings Bank, now known as Skylight One Hanson, in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Ages 21 and over please.

Tickets available here: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/169406

Greg Walloch and Mark Allen host PITCH! - UFO Magazine

We’re excited to announce the line-up for February 15th’s PITCH! With performers Yamaneika Saunders, Flloyd, Jason Wachtelhausen, and Dan Glass all performing and pitching to Nancy Birnes, Editor-In-Chief of UFO magazine (the only magazine devoted entirely to UFO’s, alien abductions & UFO government conspiracies)! Tuesday, February 15th, 7PM, at Horse Trade Under St. Marks theater, 94 St. Mark’s Place (btwn 1st & A). Only $5 at the door!

Pitch! - UFO Magazine "The truth is out there..."

Obviously both Mark Allen and Greg Walloch have been anally probed, but come find out which one of them may have actually been abducted in Pitch! - UFO Magazine on February 15th.

"Pitch!" is a live storytelling event with a twist. Four fearless storytellers: Jason Wachtelhausen, Dan Glass, Yamaneika Saunders, and Flloyd perform in front of an audience while simultaneously pitching their story to a publishing world heavyweight! Nancy Birnes of UFO Magazine pilots the editor's desk on February 15th. Our guest editor will share their feedback and maybe even a possible yes or no on the spot! Willing audience members are also invited to submit a rapid fire 15 second pitch. Your hosts Greg Walloch and Mark Allen keep it lively and irreverent! Will the performers have what it takes? Will you have what it takes? Witness amazing stories, insightful editorial commentary, and the intense process of being a writer more closely than you've ever imagined. Don't just sit there staring at the lights in the skies waiting for your big break... "Pitch!"
